The thickness of the cold storage board directly affects its thermal insulation performance. Generally speaking, the thicker the board, the better the thermal insulation performance. Boards of different thicknesses are suitable for cold storages in different temperature ranges:

 

‌50mm thick board‌: Suitable for high temperature cold storage, but the thermal insulation capacity is limited.

 

‌75mm thick board‌: Limited thermal insulation capacity, low building strength, not recommended.

 

‌100mm thick board‌: Suitable for cold storages of -10℃~-18℃, with better thermal insulation effect.

 

‌150mm thick board‌: Suitable for cold storages of -18℃~-35℃, with better thermal insulation effect.

 

‌200mm or above thick board‌: Suitable for cold storages of -35℃~-65℃, with the best thermal insulation effect‌12.
