To improve the fire performance of the cold storage board, the current mainstream solution is:

 

1. The use of rock wool filler instead of polyurethane can double its fire resistance and significantly increase the fire resistance time, which is the best choice to improve the fire resistance;

 

2. Rock wool material is used as the main filler, and then the edge part is wrapped with polyurethane, so as to have both fire protection and heat preservation;

 

3. Increasing the thickness of the steel plate can also improve the fire resistance of the insulation plate itself to a certain extent.

 

In addition, there are magnesium sulfide, glass magnesium, silica and other insulation board types, but these plates are focused on cost and weight, and are generally not recommended.
