The outer skin of the cold storage board is mostly metal, the most common is 304/316 stainless steel or galvanized color steel plate. The thickness of galvanized steel plate has a direct influence on the thermal insulation and structural strength of cold storage board. In general, the choice of steel plate thickness, mainly consider the following points:

 

1. Cold storage properties: the operating temperature of the fresh storage is relatively high, the require

ments for the cold storage board are relatively low, and the cold storage board and steel plate with thin overall thickness can be selected;

2. Low temperature cold storage or frozen storage: This kind of cold storage operating temperature is low, and the refrigeration process is fast, should choose the overall thickness of the cold storage plate, the thickness of the steel plate should not be less than 0.5mm;

 

3. Refrigerated truck: as a mobile cold storage, the refrigerated truck should take into account the weight and thermal insulation performance, the general thickness of the steel plate should not be too thick or too thin, 0.3~0.4mm is more suitable.
